1. How long have you taken music lessons?
3 years.
2. What instrument(s) do you play?
Piano.
3. Who are your favorite musical artists?
I like composers. Aaron Copland, Gustav Holst, Modest Mussorgsky, Alexander Borodin.
4. What are your short and long-term goals with music?
I like to focus on one piece at a time. I don't work through the lesson books.
5. What is your favorite part about taking music lessons?
The recitals. You spend so much time practicing a piece, and then it's amazing to see it come together!
6. What are your hobbies?
Model trains, drawing, acting, sledding.
7. What are some of your favorite foods?
One word...pasta!
8. What is the coolest thing you've learned in your lessons recently?
The part from In the Steppes of Central Asia, where the two main themes are played at the same time and then they switch hands.
9. Do you have any performances coming up or have you had a performance recently?
I’m looking forward to the Winter Recital.
