Student Spotlight: Santi T.
1. How long have you taken music lessons?
We started attending music class at the beginning of 2025.
2. What do you like about music classes?
He loves finding a steady beat, dancing around, running under the parachute, and most of all, a special music stamp at the end of class!
I’ve loved watching his confidence grow, his pure joy and excitement every week, and seeing how music is helping his language development!
3. What instrument(s) are your favorite?
He likes playing the drums and the piano.
4. What are your favorite songs or artists to listen to?
The Wheels on the Bus is a repeat at home as well as our favorite Swedish song Vipp På Rumpan (shake your butt). He is also a huge fan of Mrs Emily’s Hello song and will dance to any salsa music!
5. What are some of your favorite foods?
Mac and cheese and nas (bananas)!
6. What are your favorite activities to do when not playing music?
He is obsessed with all kinds of vehicles but also loves swimming, bike rides, and just being outside.
10. Why should other people play music?
Music is joyful, wonderful for brain development, and can help foster connections with others!
