Why should other people play music?
I enjoy the satisfaction of being able to sit down at the piano and play a piece well. Being able to create music myself is exhilarating. I'm also really lucky to have Matt, a great teacher who supports and encourages me.

I learned an Irish song and a new warm up.

What are your short and long term goals with music?
The main reason that I want to learn to play guitar is because it provides calm and peace and joy amidst my anxiety. I struggle a lot with my anxiety and when I play guitar it makes it feel like it is gone while I play. I come in to guitar lessons with anxiety and as soon as I start playing it all melts away.
